PATLA.ORG Site/Membership, Registration & Purchase Forms
Our site's registration and purchase forms require users to give us contact information (like name, email address and Pennsylvania Supreme Court ID number), method of payment, and certain demographic information. We use customer contact information from these forms to send the user information about our association and its services. The customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary. Information regarding method of payment is collected for member enrollment, registration and to process orders for products and services.

PATLA.ORG contains links to other external web sites that do not fall under the PATLA.ORG domain. Neither PaTLA nor its agents are responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such external web sites and links.
E-Commerce & Security
Our site features an online store for books, cle, and other events. We collect visitor's contact information (like email address) and method of payment. Contact information from the online orders is used to process orders, deliver purchase confirmations, and to send information about our association and its services. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using a Secure Sockets Layer that encrypts the information you input. Online payments are processed through Verisign (http://www.verisign.com/)
Promotions
We may hold promotions periodically on our site in which we ask visitors for contact information (like email address) and demographic information. The customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary.
Listservs
Listservs are benefits of Section Membership. PaTLA hosts active listservs for its Automobile Law, Insurance Bad Faith, Medical Malpractice, Workers' Compensation and New Lawyer Sections. Membership to sections requires an additional fee, except for the New Lawyer Section, which is free to all members who have been in practice for less than ten years. In addition to Section membership, various listservs have additional requirements for participation.
