Mr. McNair is a
sole practitioner in Erie, Pennsylvania. He
is a graduate of Allegheny College (B.A., 1977) and the University of Pittsburgh
School of Law (J.D., 1981). Mr.
McNair has served on the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association Board of
Governors since 1995 and is currently the Western Chair of the Workers�
Compensation Section. He also
serves as Co-Chair of the Erie County Bar Association Workers� Compensation
Committee. He is a member of the
Pennsylvania Bar Association (Workers�
Compensation Section). His practice
concentrates on the representation of claimants in workers� compensation cases
and employees in employment discrimination matters.
John E. Quinn, Esq.

John
E. Quinn is a 1976 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law.
He is currently a partner in the law firm of Evans, Portnoy & Quinn,
a civil litigation firm in Pittsburgh. Mr.
Quinn served two years as an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel with the
Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania (1976-1978).
Since that time, he has practiced exclusively in compensatory damages,
including product liability, legal malpractice and general tort claims. He has been active in the Allegheny County Bar Association,
serving as Chair of the Lawyers Referral Committee and the Civil Litigation
Section. He is a Past President of
the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He is past President of the St. Thomas More Society.
He is a member and past Board of Governor of the Academy of Trial Lawyers
of Allegheny County. He has served for many years on the Board of Governors of the
Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He
is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
He is an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Duquesne University
School of Law. Mr. Quinn has
lectured extensively for the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar
Institute, and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association in the areas of
insurance law, trial practice and ethics.
Clifford A. Rieders, Esq.
Rieders, Travis, Humphrey, Harris, Waters & Waffenschmidt
Williamsport
Mr. Rieders is a partner in the
Williamsport law firm of Rieders, Travis, Humphrey, Harris, Waters &
Waffenschmidt. He graduated in 1970
with a B.A., cum laude, from New York
University and received his J.D. from Georgetown University in 1973.
He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Malcolm Muir, United States
District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania.
His areas of expertise include medical malpractice, general negligence
and federal law. Current involvements include serving as current President of
the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and member of various other
committees; Pennsylvania Bar Association, Chair of the Amicus Curiae Committee;
Association of Trial Lawyers of America; Federal Bar Association, Past President
of the Middle District of Pennsylvania; American Law Institute Consultative
Group on Products Liability Restatement of Torts 3rd, General Torts
and Apportionment of Liability projects; American Judicature Society and the
Civil Justice Foundation. He has
written numerous articles and books for The Barrister and Trial
magazines since 1975. Mr. Rieders
was the 1989 recipient of the Milton D. Rosenberg Annual Award. He is the author of Pennsylvania Medical Malpractice,
1st and 2nd Editions, and Workers� Rights in
Pennsylvania. Mr. Rieders is
admitted to the United States Supreme Court, State Courts in Pennsylvania, New
York, and District of Columbia and numerous Federal Circuit and District Courts.
