Evan K. Aidman, of Philadelphia, has published the second edition of his book, Winning Your Personal Injury Claim. The 260-page book takes the pro se plaintiff through personal injury litigation while also giving guidance to those represented by counsel.
Herman Bigi, of the law firm Bigi, Duronio & Walsh, Charleroi, was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA).
Jeffrey L. Dashevsky of the Philadelphia law firm, Dashevsky, Horowitz, DiSandro, Kuhn, Dempsey and Novello, P.C., was appointed co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Committee on Compulsory Arbirtration. Dashevsky has been invited by the U.S. Department of State to meet with international guests from the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Guinea through a judicial arbitration program.
David B. Kline and Paul D. Brandes were recently elected shareholders of the firm Ostroff, Villari & Kusturiss in Lansdale.
Former PaTLA president Carol Nelson Shepherd, of the law firm Feldman, Shepherd, Wohlgelernter & Tanner; and current Parliamentarian Nancy Fullam, of McEldrew & Fullam, were selected as two of the "50 Pennsylvania Women of Influence in the Legal Profession" by Pennsylvania Law Weekly. Other PaTLA members selected were Roberta Pichini, of Litvin, Blumberg, Matusow & Young; Dianne Nast, of Kohn, Nast & Graf; and Deborah Willig, of Willig, Williams & Davidson.
Dorothy K. Phillips, of Philadelphia, spoke recently at a seminar on "Trusts, Estate Planning and Divorce in Pennsylvania" in Philadelphia.
Craig A. Stone, of the Harrisburg firm Mette, Evans & Woodside, is now a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
