Home News & Case Notes Merck's Vice President denies Vioxx charges (10/7/2023)--As Merck began its defense yesterday, Briggs Morrison, a vice president of Merck Research Laboratories, denied charges of putting profits before people. Morrison was responding to an email introduced as evidence for the plaintiff. The email discussed the possibility of having patients use aspirin in addition to Vioxx.  For more details, click here.
