Home News & Case Notes Allstate to pay up to $120 million in class action suit (9/2/2023)--Home and auto insurer Allstate Corp. will pay up to $120 million in a class action lawsuit where California employees claim they were denied overtime pay, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Allstate set aside $120 million for a settlement in July. The class action is among many filed against insurers and businesses who violated California wage laws. The money will go toward compensation for overtime, and meal and break rule violations.
