Home News & Case Notes Gov. to sign bill extending doctors’ Mcare subsidies today (12/13/2004) - Capitol Wire reports that Gov. Rendell will hold a mock bill signing of HB1211 today at 5 p.m. at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. The measure, which the governor actually signed into law on Nov. 29, provides a one-year extension of subsidies to roughly 30,000 doctors and health care providers who pay into the state’s MCARE fund for catastrophic medical malpractice insurance.
