(12/15/2003)--Attorney General Mike Fisher will be sworn in today as a federal judge on the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. He was appointed by President Bush in April and approved by the Judiciary Committee in October. First Deputy Attorney General Jerry Pappert will automatically replace Fisher as Attorney General. He is expected to be nominated to fill the remainder of Fisher's term, which ends in 2005.
