Geisinger to raise rates 20 percent

(2/24/2005)--The Scranton Times reports that the Pennsylvania Insurance Department has approved a 20% premium rate hike on Geisinger contracts starting after April 1. The company says its costs have been rising and a rate hike is necessary. The raise in premium will apply to employees whose plans are partially paid by their employer.
