The University of Pennsylvania Health Systems has agreed to sell Phoenixville Hospital to Community Health Systems Inc., a for-profit company, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported today. According to the Inquirer, the deal must be approved by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and Orphans Court in Chester County. Both companies hope to close the sale by June 30.
