Roeger Receives Service Award from State Trial Lawyers Association

William C. Roeger Jr., a principal in the Bucks and Lehigh County law firm of Roeger & Walker, was presented in July with a Special Service Award from the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (PaTLA). The award recognizes Roeger's outstanding and longtime work for the trial lawyers association and the people of Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers President Richard J. Schubert called Roeger a "trial lawyer and leader" who served with distinction as PaTLA's first comptroller. "PaTLA's strength lies in its members and their dedication and accomplishments and we are stronger today because of Bill Roeger," he concluded.

A chair of the firm's litigation department, Roeger routinely tries cases in approximately eight jurisdictions.  He received his B.S. degree in Physics from Muhlenberg College in 1969 and received a Juris Doctorate degree in 1973 from the Dickinson School of Law. He is a 1970 Distinguished Graduate of the Air Force Training School.

Bill is an active member of PaTLA, the Association of the Trial Lawyers of America, and the Bucks County Bar Association.  He lectures routinely to excellent reviews on a variety of personal injury issues.

He is an energetic member of his community, and focuses on his church, his local Rotary, where he is a past president, and the local Republican Party. He was an elected Republican Committee person for approximately 10 years and a member of the Republican Executive Committee for approximately 15 years. A lifelong participant in competitive sports, Bill was a longtime baseball player, and continues to lift weights and play tennis.

Bill and his wife, Ellen, reside in Center Valley. They have two adult sons, Rocky and Matt.
